Q: HOW DO YOU COMPARE TO THE OTHER GUYS? HAVEN'T I SEEN YOUR PAGE ON FACEBOOK?
A: Maybe. Check out our fan page. Our original designs come from us, and us alone. We don't steal art from our users and exploit them. We're proud that we come up with designs infrequently, to keep the products of LAU ZOO truly "one-of-a-kind."
Q: I HEARD A RUMOR THAT YOU HAVE A STORE IN LOS ANGELES.
A: The rumor is simply a rumor at this point. During a two-week period in 2006 a store in LA carried our stuff but we like doing things our way, and we have a way cooler MySpace page and website than they do.
Q: WHAT IF I HAVE A PIECE OF PROPERTY I WISH TO SUBLET TO YOU?
A: Well then, you better call us right away.
Q: HOW SOON DO THE SHIRTS GET SHIPPED TO ME?
A: Priority mail usually takes anywhere from 2-5 business days depending on where you live. If you live in a fairly prominent American city near water and away from barnyard animals it should take no more than 3 days or so even if you live all the way across the country from us. If you live in the proverbial “boonies”, it might take longer, i.e. 5 or even 7 days…..but please hang out and wait for it before calling the authorities on us.
Q: WILL THE T-SHIRTS SHRINK A LITTLE BIT?
A: Yes. Our sizes run small so order up if you're an eater, order down if you're a runner.
Q: IS YOUR WEBSITE SECURE?
A: Absolutely; 100%. We here at LAU ZOO will not sell or lend your email addresses out to anyone, nor do we store your credit card information. This is why you cannot edit your orders or change them once you click "order," but we think this is a better, more secure way to do business with our fans!
Q: DO YOU DO LIVE EVENTS? BIRTHDAY PARTIES?
A: Sure thing! If you live near a college, and know of a fair we should contact, we can even show up to your home town with trumpets blaring. The birthday party thing would just be weird. We've tried to sell things at a birthday party before and people said we were being "rude."
Q: ARE YOU HIRING?
A: Always. Especially if you're a designer! Send us samples of your work and a funny joke!
Q: WHAT'S "LAU ZOO" MEAN?
A: It's Lau. And it's a zoo around here.
Q: AND IS THIS THE SAME LAU AS MENTIONED IN "DARK KNIGHT?"
A: Different guy. Same spelling.
Q: HOW DO I KNOW THAT THE ASIAN SHIRTS SAY WHAT YOU SAY THEY SAY?
A: Trust. If you are skeptical, ask around before buying! We only get our translations from reliable sources. If you’re brave enough to have a Chinese character TATOOED to your shoulder, you ought to be brave enough to wear one on a t-shirt.
